Prometheus Inc., incorporated in 1983, is a team of Mathematicians, Physicists and Signal Processing and Computer Engineers dedicated to the formulation, development, and implementation of Signal Processing and other algorithms. Our goal is to develop algorithms and software that avoid, and in most cases completely eliminate, the need for changes in hardware, reducing system costs while improving performance. Our core competencies are acoustics, antenna array design, applied probability, digital filtering, harmonic analysis, modeling, optimization, pattern recognition, radar, scattering theory, signal processing, waveform design, undersea communications, and sonar.
